Project Dining Room Part 2

There was much to do especially when Big Daddy B switched the nature of our project from laminate flooring to real hardwood.  He had to gather more tools, do more prep work, pick out hardwood.  But finally he was making progress.  To get himself pumped up, he put in some Michael Jackson hits and showed off some of his moves.  I can't tell you how much I love my husband and how fun he is (well sometimes...usually he doesn't perform for the camera)

What a hoot!!  This is his first time laying a hardwood floor and I think he is doing an awesome job.  To be honest, anything but carpet underneath my dining room table is a blessing.

We have been eating all of our meals in our living room which has been quite funny.  The hardest part is keeping the kids away from Daddy because they want to help all the time.  But finally the nailing has started and some of the hardwood is down.  More to come.....
